Popular acts including French dancer Michael Moral and 7-year-old Robbie Firmin failed to make the cut, even in some cases after a second audition for the panel.
In a video montage at the end of the episode, which is also on the ITV website, the vast majority of the acts who did get through are shown performing. However, year-old Bliss was not shown during the judges' deliberations or in this final Vt. When the full list of 40 acts was confirmed late last night, fans on Twitter and the Digital Spy forums complained at the surprise inclusion of more. But somehow, she still managed to win a place in the semi-finals and will perform for Simon and Co later this week.
