I have three LMT units I have had it a little more than a month, and I miss my Tom Tom. Both have frustrating things about them, but the Tom Tom was easier to use. The Garmin has a bigger screen, but the Tom Tom had more information on the screen and it was easier to see the upcoming turns. The Garmin screen does have more options for customization, but doesn't allow me to put all the info on it that the Tom Tom does.
The Tom Tom has you select the state you are looking for the city in, while the Garmin makes you look through a list of cites in different states until you find the one you want.
